The YoHD Micro, What is it?
Can we shamelessly say the YoHD Micro is the best, budget friendly, and complete DIGITAL FPV system on the market? We'll let you be the judge of this.
It's a all-in-one unit, no soldering required, and will work directly out of the box if you choose our kit option. No binding, no fiddling, no fuss. Just slap n' go on your favorite RC.
Pictures doesn't do justice on how micro sized this camera unit is, as it only 2" in length and sits slightly over 1" in height. From the beginning, it was designed for Micro RC's in mind.
Let's start with the best part, its digital. You will drive (or fly at your own risk) in full 720 or 1080p. This is NOT a recording but you will see this crisp video in live time! For reference, here is a comparison with an older FPV analog setup. (Left is the YoHD Micro, Right is a standard Analog camera)
The latency average is around 38m/s during our testing which is plenty enough to not feel like you are "lagging" when your RC is moving around.
Besides being armored like a micro tank and HD live feed, it will also record audio. Almost all HD FPV camera systems do not have this feature. The sound of your RC's motor RPMS, the scraping of the tires on asphalt, or the occasion laughter after you end your first driving sessions will be recording along with your video.
The recording happens in the goggles as the SD card slot is located right above the screen. It can take up to 256g SD cards and we highly recommend using a class 10 for stable recording speeds.
For power, the goggles will take any 2-6s battery with an XT60 connector.
For the YoHD Micro camera unit, you will have options.
Included in the package, you will get a PH 2.0, XT30, and a JST 2.0 adapter cables. It can take 1-3s batteries and allows you to use your existing Micro RC batteries. If you don't have any micro sized batteries, we have our own 2s battery you can purchase separately.
To solve the issue of figuring out how to mount your battery, we've got you covered if you can't find a place as we also include a Velcro strap to snuggly fit your battery on the rear end of the unit.
For mounting options, we include double-sided tape for a quick slap n' go situation. We also suggest using standard Velcro tape to quickly move the YoHD camera from one RC to another. (Velcro tape is not included)
If you choose our full RTR kit, it will come with these box goggles. We will also leave you with a spoiler, it has a head tracking module already built in for our next camera variation that will be out very soon.
