What is it?
The Crawler Community is arguably one of the largest in the R/C world. It is like Rock Crawling but miniaturized into a smaller scale R/C car. It is also one of the friendliest as people are open to share and help each other along the way.
The standard scale (size) are 1/10, 1/18, and 1/24. These are not speed demons but made for climbing over obstacles. Due to the slow nature, these are perfect for beginners to learn how to operate an R/C car as the controller (radio) and the movements are the same for ground R/C vehicles.
Best thing about R/C Crawling (in our opinion) is the people involved. You can expect year-round R/C crawler events where hundreds to even thousands of people gathering over a weekend of camping in the wilderness to enjoy this hobby. There are also smaller, one day events, where you can bring your friends and family to participate in this challenging but fun experience.
During these events, the community is willing to answer questions and share their thoughts on potential upgrades or how to set up your potentially new R/C crawler.
