What is it?
Got a love for aviation or think planes are cool? This R/C is for you! From gliders, flying wings, and scale (copy of real life models) planes, there are so many options to choose from. Don't have a specific model or want to make a custom plane? You can also build your own!
Most RTF (Ready to Fly), PnP (Plug and Play, without receivers), or ARF (Almost Ready to Fly, missing receiver and/or electronics with minor assembly) are built with foam as it is cost effective and somewhat more durable than their wood counterparts. Also, the selections from custom to scale options are plenty and you will most likely find your favorite scale plane.
A smaller but awesome niche to consider is installing an FPV system (like our XplorerHD) to get a truly immersive experience as it will place you in the cockpit.
However, we do want to mention that the learning curve is on the steeper side as an error in the build or flying may result in a total loss of your plane. Although starting off on a simulator or a trainer plane might be a turn off in the beginning, it is well worth it once you get proficient in flying an R/C plane model!
